Workshop Presenters: Riley Roam and Kenny Mikey

Riley Roam and Kenny Mikey are the founders of Page Turner Adventures, Inc., a unique company specializing in hilarious literacy themed live shows, award winning videos and one-of-a-kind workshops for kids, teachers and librarians.

“When You Read, Every Day is an Adventure!” is Page Turner Adventures’ motto. Getting kids excited books, stories, reading and writing is their mission.  Riley and Kenny are also passionate about providing librarians with out-of-the-box ideas for crafts, stories and programming that children and teens love!

Since 2006, this husband and wife team has worked with their librarian advisory board to develop and present Summer Reading Program workshops throughout Florida, New York and Louisiana. After producing several “how-to” videos for last year’s workshop, Riley and Kenny were inundated with requests for more video training and the ONLINE Video Workshops were born.

Riley is an author, storyteller and artist and Kenny is a former Ringling Bros. circus clown, teen improvisational theater coach and video producer. Their eclectic backgrounds have given them the tools to create unforgettable workshops designed to motivate, engage and inspire youth librarians to create their best Summer Reading Program ever!
